    Livs og sportsglad person, plaget med dårlig syn på sine eldre dager. Svært glad i å lese, spesielt ukeblader.Et av ukens desiderte høydepunkter var når ukebladet kom. Holdt seg utrolig oppdatert bestandig.
    Pauline var et overskuddsmenneske som også har hatt sine nedturer. En av dem var at far til Else, Paulines elste datter, sviktet henne. Dette vasr ikke bare bare på Mindland, et lite landesns samfunn. Samfunnets fordømmelse var ofte nådeløst.
    Men på sine eldre dager var hun et midtpunkt. Samlende bare ved sitt blide vesen. Hun tilbragte vintrene på aldershjemmet i Sandnessjøen, og somrene hjemme på Mindland. Det var her hun helst ville være, men som den person huin var aksepterte hun sin sjebne og gjorde det beste ut av situasjonen.

    Notes:

    Else har for det meste vært hjemmeværende, iallefall siden barna begynte å komme. Hun fikk jo først en pike, Brith som døde kort etter fødselen. Dette er et kapittel det snakkes lite om. Ellers har hun levet for barna og barnebarna, iallefall mens Arvid levde. Da han døde fikk hun seg en ny venn og på mange måter endret hun seg. Hun ble litt mer opptatt av seg selv og sitt. Endring til det bedre.
    Hun føler seg ellers ikke riktig hjemme på Mindland som halvsøsknene hennes. Hun har ingen helsøsken. Som elste datter på gården var det nok travelt i oppveksten. Det at hun var født utenfor ekteskap gjorde det nok ikke lettere. Mamma Pauline overførte litt av bitterheten mot Elses far til henne selv. Hun var ikke alltid snill mot Else.
    Barnebarna er svært glade i Else. Hun har alltid hatt tid til dem og alltid noe godt i skapet.
    Ellers har hun to pasjoner, bridgespilling og multeplukking. Hun har vært mye syk, med kraftige anfall av leddgikt samt tuberkulose. Hun har måttet fjerne en lunge. I feriene, og senere selvsagt også ellers, var hun mye på hytta si i Grønvika. Her gjorde hun "matauk", med vekslende hell. Iblant var det jo fiskerikontroll på fjorden, og det hendte det fòr et garn. Så oppsynet sto ikke alltid høyt i kurs. Ellers tilbragte hun mang en sommer på Arvids barndomshjem på Hammarøya. Her samlet Arvids søsken seg hver sommer med barn og senere barnebarn. Det var en nydelig plass, og spesielt multeplukkinga sto Elses hjerte nær. Ellers hendte det Else noe spesielt i 60-års alderen, noe hun ville holde fort seg selv. Men barna fikk vite det.
    I ungdomsårene arbeidet hun som frisørdame.

    Else married Arvid Albert Norvald FORSÅMosjøen.
